Greece has a coastline of more than 16,500 kilometers the longest of any other Mediterranean country. Half of this length includes the thousands of Greek islands scattered through the Greek seas, while the rest extends along the mainland. The main island complexes are the Cyclades complex, the Dodecanese complex both located on the Aegean archipelagos and the Ionian complex on the western side of Greece.

Depending on time of the year you can choose sailing  under strong Meltemi , or in more calm waters and conditions. For sure Greece has no or rearly  tonados and other extreme weather phanomens that may hold you back..

The Greek seas and beaches are world-famous for their crystal clean and clear waters, as well as for their unique diversity. You will have the opportunity to enjoy all possible shades of blue waters,  long white sandy beaches, sheltered bays and coves,  as well as dark sand typical of volcanic soil. To be noted that every year hundreds of beaches and marinas in Greece are awarded with the “Blue Flag”.

Most of these coasts are freely accessible and can be easily reached through a yacht.
